Jonah looked at his room with disapproval. “I’ll have to do something about this mess,” he said to himself. Jonah wasn’t the tidiest person around but he was expecting his girlfriend’s company that night and didn’t think she’d be very impressed by the clutter. Where do I begin? He silently questioned. Magazines, clothes and a variety of random items lined his bedroom’s floor.
He made the decision to start with the clothes and gathered them up into his arms and made his way to the laundry. The washing machine still had room for more so he returned for another heap. As he was thinking, in the doorway, he heard a beeping coming from the laundry. He hadn’t heard the sound before so he went to investigate. It turned out that the machine was the source of the sound and it was indicating that there was no hot water.
Josh thought about it for a minute then checked the water in the kitchen. There didn’t seem to be any hot water coming from there either. The bathroom produced the same cold water. “What is going on?” he muttered through gritted teeth.
He didn’t have the slightest idea, when it came to home maintenance, so he made the call to locate a hot water plumber in Lindfield to check out the hot water heater. I hope someone is there, he thought, as he dialled the number.
An outgoing person answered on the other end and was happy to help Jonah out with his questions. She informed him that a plumbing professional would be available to drop by in the next hour to look at the hot water system. Jonah couldn’t believe his luck and thanked her for her assistance.
As promised, he noticed a car arrive, less than an hour later. He unlocked the door and met the hot water plumber. Jonah went through the problem and showed him to his hot water system. The plumber then went about checking it and also specific areas of the house.
Half an hour later, the plumber let Jonah know that his hot water had returned and that it shouldn’t give him any more hassles. Jonah was grateful that he had found a plumber that was reliable and provided rapid response. Thanks to him, he’d still have time to tackle his mountain of laundry, before his date.
